When asked "Why family law," my answer is simple; because family is important. In fact, in order for society to exist, there must be a successful family makeup. I became an attorney to do just that and more; to impact my society and the lives of others through the practice of law.
I take great pride in assisting my clients through some of life's most difficult challenges by offering a more personalized and attentive approach to their legal matters. In doing so, I make sure that my client stays clearly and concisely informed throughout the process.
I hail from Gates, North Carolina and moved to Charlotte in 2007 to attend UNC-Charlotte, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in English with a double minor in Criminal Justice and Political Science. I received my Juris Doctorate degree in 2014 from the Charlotte School of Law. When I am not practicing law, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jeffrey and daughter, Layla.
